Private Music Lessons

Heavenly Harp & Peaceful Piano Studios

Lauren offers private harp and piano lessons for all ages in her home located in Plainfield, Illinois.

Online lessons are available through all platforms.

Music theory tutoring and songwriting introductory courses are also available at request. 

Time slots range from 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and hour lengths. 

McCombe has been a private lesson and group class teacher for over five years and is currently on staff at the Fox River Academy of Music & Art located in Oswego, Illinois.  

Lauren was previously the head of the harp department at the Northern Illinois University Community School of the Arts with full harp and piano studios. Her students have gone on to perform throughout their communities, placed in the Illinois Music Education Association auditions, and competed in various competitions.

Lauren focuses her studio principles on correct technique and form, tone, and stage presence.

She firmly believes that playing music is meant for cathartic purposes and encourages her students to find their voice within melody, whether it is through classical, folk, or popular musical selections.

Music theory and music history are frequently applied in lessons.

Harp teaching levels range from beginner to advanced intermediate.

Piano teaching levels range from beginner to intermediate.
